SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.
SASSA will be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency mentioned it really is alarmed with regard to the higher quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is as a sassa status check result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The service point established for intervention ordeals a substantial influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it challenging with the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to allow the servicing of all customers and maximize use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
